Healthcare Industry Leader Purchases Initial Credentialing Software System

January 10, 2007, San Diego, CA - HealthLine Systems, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare software solutions announced today that it has completed the acquisition of MEDSTAFF^®, a premier credentialing software solution developed by Health Planning Consultants of Oakland CA. Terms were not disclosed.

With the acquisition of MEDSTAFF HealthLine Systems unites two of the industries long standing credentialing software solutions. MEDSTAFF: The Medical Staff Professional's Assistant, was the first medical staff office management system developed in 1984. HealthLine's initial credentialing solution MedicalStaffLine,™ was released in 1987.

Commenting on the acquisition, Chief Executive Officer of HealthLine Systems Dan E.
