Product Add-ons
VisionApplication
VisionApplication is the starting point for the complete electronic credentialing file.
VisionDirectory
VisionDirectory is a web-based solution that provides the ability to search provider files based on multiple criteria, and report demographic information in a directory format. This tool can be used internally as a reference tool and/or externally as a public provider directory. The information that populates the directory is pulled directly from the Vision database in real-time. The VisionDirectory search criteria and content are customizable. The application will not allow access to sensitive data such as birth date or SSN. This solution can be used on an internal Intranet, or externally on the Internet and requires webNetwork or other standard internet security measures.
VisionPrivileges
VisionPrivileges grants real-time, read-only access to provider privileges via the internal Intranet (not external Internet). It is intended to be used ONLY within a hospital’s internal network for users who need instant access to real-time privilege information. Users may search by provider or by privilege anywhere, anytime from any browser. This application searches and reads real-time privilege data directly from the Vision database. VisionPrivileges can be configured to use login and password security, if desired.
VisionResponse
VisionResponse is a web-based solution that publishes a customizable affiliation letter to the web.
VisionOn-Call
VisionOn-Call is a web-based application that allows users to create and search physician on-call information for a specific department or timeframe. Management of the On-Call scheduling tool is data decentralized, allowing either a single source for on-call schedule creation or giving each department the ability to modify its own on-call schedule as needed. This application is integrated with VisionSPS and searches, reads and reports real-time On-Call data from the VisionSPS database.
Vision Peer Review
Peer Review is a tool designed to manage quality assurance incidents. This module allows the Quality Assurance Department to track and trend physician performance against their peers. A user can log multiple incidents under a single chart number and track reviews, comments, meetings, and other items related to quality assurance management. Peer Review reports may include findings, conclusions, recommendations, actions, and follow-up.
Vision Phy-App
Vision Phy-App auto-populates insurance forms with provider information. Credentialing applications can be scanned and mapped to pull selected information directly from the VisionSPS physician database. Phy-App is fast, accurate, and simple.
VisionReports
VisionReports publishes Vision’s powerful reports to the web, allowing secure access to real-time critical provider information at any time from any internal location. The reports made available for viewing can be assigned login protection for greater security. Real-time data from the VisionSPS database is used to ensure accuracy. This application is intended for use ONLY within a hospital’s internal intranet for authorized users who need instant access to real-time provider information.
VisionReports Server
VisionReports Server gives users the ability to schedule reports to run automatically at anytime and have those reports delivered to anyone. Reports can be published to a desktop dashboard, to a printer, shared network folder or delivered via e-mail. Reports can also be automatically published directly to the VisionSPS paperless physician database. This tool provides automatic, at-a-glance views of time sensitive information such as forecasted monthly re-appointments and time-to-completion notification for each stage of the appointment process. Potential bottlenecks can be identified through analysis of current and forecasted appointment/reappointment schedules.
VisionReports Server Additional User Liscenses

When more user licenses are needed, a purchase option for blocks of five Concurrent Access Licenses (CALs) is provided.
VisionSync Data Integration
VisionSPS is an Enterprise Physician Management Solution that allows clients to manage all aspects of provider data and documents in a paperless environment. For most healthcare entities, the primary and most accurate source for provider data will be the Vision database. However, a healthcare organization may maintain other systems that store some elements of provider data outside of the Vision database. Therefore, it may be advantageous to integrate data elements between the Vision physician database system and other disparate systems in the healthcare facility. An HIS system that tracks bits and pieces of provider data may be a good example of a potential data integration need.
GetProof believes that data integration solutions should be simple, cost effective and meet the data and process needs of each healthcare organization.
-
All VisionSync Data Integration options include:
- An import/export engine
- A powerful scripting language*
- Scheduling and batch processing
- Export directly to a file or to other systems via TCP/IP ports
- Standard file formats
- Processing of mapping/crosswalk files
- Support for MS technology platforms
- Professional Integration Services (when customized)
- Event logging
*The script language provides a generalized means of executing SQL commands against one or more data sources.
We have packaged our integration solutions into the following options:
VisionSync Standard – Physician file export to Excel
VisionSync Standard will export a standard set of physician information to a Microsoft Excel/CSV file. The data set is defined by the universal set of data found in most credentialing applications. VisionSync Standard will pull from approximately 200 data elements that come from the main credentialing screens in VisionSPS. Multiple records are also exported for data that has more than one entry, such as offices or affiliations.
VisionSync HL7 – Standard HL7 export
VisionSync HL7 will export a specific set of physician data to a standard HL7 format. The physician data being exported will include approximately 40 data elements. These data elements are defined by the HL7 2.3 standard specifications for physician data (in the SFT and PRA segments), that also match the data schema in the VisionSPS database.
VisionSync HL7+ – Standard HL7 plus additional provider fields
This data integration solution includes all of the data elements in VisionSync HL7, PLUS approximately 100 additional data elements from VisionSPS that are not defined in the HL7 2.3 SFT and PRA segment requirements. These additional physician data elements come from provider fields that are defined as custom HL7 Z segments. These fields are considered common credentialing data elements in the VisionSPS database.
VisionSync CAQH – Imports information to VisionSPS from CAQH
VisionSync CAQH will import provider data that has been downloaded from the CAQH ftp or web site into the VisionSPS database. This tool will import and update existing practitioner data based on specific update rules defined by the client. The tool also allows the client to define and configure the specific tables that will be imported into the VisionSPS database. Fields will be imported as the data exists in the CAQH extract file as text, date or logical values. A user defined mapping/transformation file (txt or xls) is used to control data transformation mappings between the CAQH data and the VisionSPS lookup tables. These transformation files are defined and managed by the client, as needed. After a CAQH data import is completed, a report is generated to show post import changes to the database.
VisionSync Advanced – Custom import or export solutions
VisionSync Advanced is an integration solution that combines the power of any of the standard options listed above, with the added value of specific functionality enhancements designed to meet the unique data integration needs of the client. GetProof’s integration consulting team will complete a needs analysis with each client to determine the scope of work required for this custom consulting solution.
